The University of Alabama at Birmingham will be hosting the THE DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS, ERGODIC THEORY, AND PROBABILITY CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF NIKOLAI CHERNOV. The conference will include three parallel sessions (Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory, Probability) and plenary talks by Leonid Bunimovich (Georgia Tech), Dmitry Dolgopyat (University of Maryland), Anatole Katok (Penn State), Konstantin Khanin (Toronto), Joel Lebowitz (Rutgers), Russell Lyons (Indiana University, Bloomngton), Roberto Markarian (Uruguay), Yakov Pesin (Penn State), Nandor Simanyi (UAB), Domokos Szasz (Hungary).
