Course Information

Lectures: MWF 9:00-9:50am in HAINES A2.

Instructor: Carmeliza Navasca, 6180 Math Sciences Building.

Office Hours: Monday 10:30am-12:00pm and Wednesday 2:30pm-4:00pm

Textbook: Dennis G. Zill, A First Course in Differential Equations. 8th Edition.

Prerequisites: Math 32A with a grade of C- or better. (Highly recommended: Math 33A)

Exams:
Midterm Exam I: Wednesday, 26th October, 9:00-9:50pm in class 9:00-9:50am in class*
Midterm Exam II: Monday, 21st November, 9:00-9:50pm in class 9:00-9:50am in class*
Final: Monday, 12th December, 3:00-6:00pm FOWLER A103B

Bring student ID to both midterms and the final. There will be no make-up exams.
No calculators, notes, or books will be permitted in any exams.

Grading Scheme: Homework 10%; Each midterm 20%; Final 50%.

Homework: There will be weekly homework. It is due on Fridays, in class.

No late homework will be accepted.
Write your name, ID number, and TA section at the top of the first page.
Homework will be returned in TA section.
The two lowest homework grade will be dropped.
