Summary: Set on a panoramic Brazilian beach, this film confronts the sexual and social tensions between classes in the romantic story of a wealthy aristocrat's obsessive desire. Refused nothing throughout his life, he spies the alluring figure of Fulvia, a beautiful but married woman who becomes the object of unrelenting passion. His lust is finally satisfied and he paints on her belly a declaration of love which threatens a tragic consequence when she undresses in front of her husband.
