Announcements

The University of Alabama at Birmingham will be hosting the 39th SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section Conference (SIAM-SEAS) on March 20-22, 2015. The conference consists of four plenary talks, several parallel sessions and a poster session. The plenary speakers are: Yuefan Deng (Stony Brook), Irena Lasiecka (Memphis), Tai-Ping Liu (Academia Sinica/Stanford) and James Nagy (Emory).

February 23, 2015: Abstract submission for contributed (lecture or poster) and minisymposium speakers
February 23, 2015: Student Travel Award Application Deadline
Hotel reservation due dates: Feb 25 Feb 27 (extended deadline), Feb 26, Mar 5 (various dates)
March 11, 2015: Pre-registration and UAB Math Faculty/Student Registration
